Technophobics, technophiles.

What is technophobics?
Is a basic fear of technology and the use of electronic items that have become so plentiful in this day and age. We all have our personal computer, which we curse and swear at on a daily basis. We have cell phones that are capable of way more then a simple phone call. Our Cameras have become so advanced that the average user has no clue what all the features are for. We have television services that offer us hundreds of stations, digital video recorders so we don’t miss any of it, and high definition large screen TV’s to watch it all on. The list of electronics and gadgets we use goes on and on. Some folks enjoy learning how to use all the tools that technology is providing for us. Other people shy away from anything new and unknown…they use the device for a single purpose and have no intentions of learning about the others features the item is capable of.


what is technophiles?

Refers generally to a strong enthusiasm for technology, especially new technologies such as personal computers, the internet,mobile phones and home cinema. the term is used in sociology when examining the interaction of individuals with their society, especially contrasted with technophobia.

The role of technology in english teaching

The role of teaching with technology is very important because technology is what we see around the world, now a days teachers are continually being encouraged to take technology classes so that their students can benefit from their knowledge in education technology plays are role in the classroom ,in assistive technology products and software that is brought in to the teaching.

Advantages of having technology in teaching and education.

There has been substantial evidence around the world that technology has become one of the most important and vital components to the success of a child education here are some advantages:

- Student achievement: technology has been proven to help students achieve in reading, writing and arithmetic, technology gives educators one more tool to help them reach those goals.

-Professional requirements: technology not only benefit students it also benefit the educator technology improve their teaching abilities.

- Meeting special needs: technology creates individualized learning environments for students and really can play a major role in special needs ones.


The technology is very important in english teaching it have a intresting role and all of we as futures teacher we need the technology envolved in our classes becuase our real world is a world full of technology so if we like teacher dont provide technology in our classes and in our education system how they are going to be prepare for the real world.
